Questions

Things people ask before paying.

Do the people I share with need an account?
No. They click the link, see the page, and pin their feedback. No signup, no extension, no email required. That's the whole point.
What counts as a project?
One deployed app or site. You can change the URL (staging today, prod tomorrow) without it counting as a new project.
Do I need to install anything?
Not to start. Paste a URL and PinDrop renders the page. The optional script tag is for SPAs that need route-aware pinning.
Is MCP really free?
Yes. Create a free account, generate an API key, and connect Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex. Anonymous use (pin feedback, share a link) still works without an account — the free account only exists so we can mint you an API key.
What's the difference between Pro and Studio?
Pro is the solo-dev tier: 10 projects, the 10-reviewer link, unlimited pins, email pings. Studio is for teams: unlimited projects, unlimited reviewers per project, unlimited team members, multi-project agent context across every project, and priority support. MCP works on all three tiers.
Does the MCP server work with Cursor, Codex, and Claude Code?
Yes. Any MCP-aware agent can connect. In practice: you say "fix pin 4" in your IDE, the agent reads the pin's context (page, anchor, screenshot, thread), edits the code, and resolves the pin.
What if I cancel?
You drop to Free at the end of the period. Your projects and pins stay. You just can't add new projects beyond the Free limit.
Who's building this?
One person, independent, no VC. Built because Markup.io hiked to $79 and the MCP-having competitors all want $59+.
